KATHERINE LEON
My name is Katherine Leon and I’m an emergent artist based in Bratislava. My passion for art began when I was 16 years old. While studying for an exam my older sister showed me how she was drawing my younger sister, in real time, which I found fascinating.
From that moment onward I started my journey which lead me to learn different techniques. Oils, watercolours, acrylics, alcohol ink, modelling clay, collages, plant, digital and recycling art.
Some of my inspiration comes from artists like Guillermo Lorca, Pilar Zeta or Frida Kahlo. I love the abstract and surrealistic experience of their art.
In my artwork try to portray my feelings about situations I or others face.
